Biography
Cole McKay is an accomplished director in the world of action film.Cole was born in Xenia, Ohio and grew up in the Pocono Mountains of Pennsylvania before moving to Phoenix, Arizona in 1972.
Being athletically inclined he was drawn to the sport of boxing, ultimately winning numerous titles and awards. Cole became interested in the film industry in 1982, specifically in stunts after working with accomplished Arizona stuntman, Ron Nix. After working three years in the film and television business in Arizona, Cole moved to Los Angeles, CA in 1985 and landed a stunt role in the film, Three Amigos. Cole excelled in the stunt industry but began to feel a pull to the position of stunt coordinator / 2nd unit director and working behind the camera. This caught the eye of producers who suggested he make the move to director.
Cole has worked on numerous feature films and television projects as a director, 2nd unit director, stunt coordinator and stunt performer. His credits include L.A. Heat and the fun-filled action packed feature films The 3 Musketeers and 200 M.P.H.
